Welcome to the Cherry Genetics Web Site. 

This site is designed to complement the Rosaceae Genome Database by presenting detailed genetic data for sweet and sour cherry, Prunus avium and P. cerasus, respectively.  Our goal is to provide linkage maps and marker/trait information in a format that can be easily utilized by the breeding and genetics community. 
 
The Cherry Genetics Web Site is an outcome of the cherry genomics project coordinated by Amy Iezzoni at Michigan Station University and funded by a grant from the USDA/CSREES.  For more information about this site, please contact Yiwu Chen, the administrator at chenyiw@msu.edu.
